Communication Arts Department Fun Facts
- Students are behind our 4 publications and productions- The Prep News (Online), The Rock Collection (Literary Magazine), The Quarry (Yearbook) and through our Rockhurst News Network, participating in the writing, producing, editing and on-air talent portions of these publications and productions.
- Our Movie and Film Making students produce our Pep Rally videos and videos for various Rockhurst activities including the promo for our Open House and content for our annual Night at the Rock.
- 82 students are enrolled in Entrepreneurship for Others, a class where they conceptualize, write, and present a business pitch to local entrepreneurs who serve as mentors.
- Our Speech and Debate team was recently ranked #59 in the Top 100 Schools by the National Speech & Debate Association (NDSA).
